Dr. ArNelle Wright is a respected clinician, industry leader and sought-after speaker, known on social as the Daily Dentist. A proud graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Dr. Wright also holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition, also from UF. She is the owner of Oral Health & Wellness of Oviedo, where she focuses on comprehensive dental care, a tailored patient experience and the mouth-body connection.
Her leadership within organized dentistry is extensive, including service as the 17th District Representative to the ADA New Dentist Committee, Chair of the Subcommittee on New Dentist Engagement, and New Dentist Liaison to the ADA Council on Dental Practice. Dr. Wright served as the Editor of the quarterly journal for The Dental Society of Greater Orlando, where she eventually served as President of the local affiliate organization. Dr. Wright also represents the DSGO as the second Vice President of the Central Florida District Dental Association and will continue her leadership journey to serve as President in years to come.
At the state level, Dr. Wright continues to serve on the Council on Ethics, Bylaws & Judicial Affairs for the Florida Dental Association and Chair of the New Dentist Task Force. Dr. Wright is a Pierre Fauchard Academy Fellow, recipient of the FDA New Dentist Leader Award, the National Dental Association 40 Under 40 Award, the UF College of Agricultural & Life Sciences Alumni & Friends Horizon Award, and the UF Top 40 Under 40 Gators Award, to name a few.
Dr. Wright has served as a voice for dentistry in some of the most unique ways, from holding a column in various dental journals, to moderating national town hall events, delivering thought leadership on various dental, leadership and practice management topics, to co-hosting the ADA’s award-winning “Dental Sound Bites™” podcast. For the past three years, she has served as SmileCon’s “member on the street,” acting as a live correspondent and influencer, delivering the energy and excitement of SmileCon directly to ADA’s online audience.
Equally passionate about service, Dr. Wright has participated in dental mission trips to Guatemala and Jamaica. She advocates for patients and the dental profession during ADA Lobby Day and the Florida Dental Association’s Dentists’ Day on the Hill, while also mentoring future dental leaders through outreach and admissions programs.
Whether in the operatory, behind the mic, or under the spotlight, Dr. Wright’s mission is clear: to elevate the profession, inspire the next generation and create meaningful connections that move dentistry forward.
